Adehye Roots Journeys × Ayebea’s Sankofa Marketplace offers curated cultural travel experiences in Ghana. All bookings, inquiries, and transactions are subject to the terms outlined below.

Eligibility

To participate in our journeys, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete information during booking
  • Have valid travel documents (passport, visas if required)

We are not responsible for denied entry due to incomplete or invalid documentation.

Bookings & Payments

  • A reservation is only confirmed once the required deposit has been successfully received.
  • Deposits are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • Remaining balances must be paid according to the agreed schedule (including Partial.ly payment plans where applicable).
  • Failure to complete payments may result in cancellation of your reservation without refund of the deposit.

Pricing

All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time before a booking is confirmed. Once a reservation is confirmed, your price will remain fixed.

Travel Responsibility

Participants are responsible for:

  • Their own passports, visas, vaccinations, and travel documents
  • Arranging travel insurance (strongly recommended)
  • Arriving on time for scheduled activities and departures

We are not responsible for missed flights, delays, or personal travel disruptions.

Health & Safety

By joining a journey, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in group travel activities.

We are not liable for injuries, illnesses, or accidents that may occur during the trip, except where required by law.

Cancellations

Cancellations are subject to our Cancellation Policy. Please review it carefully before booking.

Changes to Itinerary

We may adjust itineraries due to weather, local conditions, or operational needs.

We always aim to maintain the quality and intent of the experience, but certain activities or timings may change without prior notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We are not responsible for third-party services (airlines, hotels, transport providers, etc.)
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking

Our journeys may include services provided by local partners, guides, transport providers, and accommodation partners in Ghana.

We are not responsible for their actions, policies, or service disruptions.
